Project enquiries

When you contact BrownCo Websites, we collect the name, email address, business name, selected service, and project details you provide. We save enquiries privately in this WordPress installation and send a notification to nate@browncompany.org so we can respond. Please do not include passwords, payment card details, or sensitive documents.

Your account

Registration asks for your name and email address. We send a verification link before creating your account. Verification links expire after one hour. Your password is stored using WordPress password hashing. Your profile can also hold your business name, phone number, and website. Account and enquiry records are available to authorized administrators; customers can manage their own profile.

Email and hosting

The website is hosted by InMotion. Account verification, password resets, and enquiry notifications use the hosting mail system. Enquiry notifications are delivered to BrownCo’s Microsoft 365 inbox. Registration does not add you to a marketing mailing list.

Cookies and security

Account sign-in uses essential WordPress cookies. Email verification temporarily uses a secure cookie to complete registration. We use short-lived hashed identifiers to limit repeated submissions and sign-in attempts. The hosting provider may retain standard access and security logs. This website does not currently run advertising or analytics tracking.

Payments

Online billing is not connected yet. We do not collect card information through this website. Payment details and the relevant privacy information will be provided when the billing service launches.

Questions or changes

To ask about your information, change your account email, or request deletion, contact nate@browncompany.org. Records may also remain in routine backups until those backups rotate out.
